WORK EXPERIENCE
I have worked in the education field for over 20 years and 10 years at Fort Hays State University. I love working as an adjunct instructor. It allows me to reach a goal of making a difference in higher education. If I have helped one of my students strive to share what they have learned with their peers and students, then I have achieved my goal.

I have always been committed to service activities and serving the larger community and will continue with church, scholarly and professional service activities. I have served my church and community throughout my life. I have served in Beta Sigma Phi, past President, Vice-President, and Girl of the Year, General Federated Women's Club, K-12 activities as my children grew up, and supported my family in all of their community and church service. My church service is as a Church Missionary, Ward & Branch Relief Society Counselor, Teacher, and Executive Secretary; Stake and Branch Young Women Counselor and Teacher; Stake and Branch Primary President, Counselor, Secretary, Teacher, Nursery Leader and Music Director; Stake Employment Resource Specialist; Ward Gospel Doctrine Teacher; Ward Activities Committee Chair; Branch Boy Scout Assistant Scout Master, Branch and Community Boy Scout Merit Badge Teacher; Ward and Branch Librarian and Assistant Librarian; Indexing, Family History, and a Branch Missionary. I have thirty-three years of experience teaching in my church callings.
